Jeruzalem, pearl of Prlekija – pride of Slovenia. In a height of 343 m above sea level the feeling of a safe voyage between never ending green hilly vineyards lost in dreams that for long time already bring forth world-known wines like Jeruzalemcan, Rizling and other kinds of with wine, takes possession of you.

The first visitors of our Jeruzalem, that fraternised with the Israeli town of the same name, and later their owners, were crusaders in the 13th century. Pilgrims still become enraptured each time about its natural beauty, decorated with the late baroque Church of the Mournful God`s Mother (from the year 1652). Between the tourists there are hard to please Viennesi who even preferred our Jeruzalem to holidays on the sea. Because here is the true sea, charming, yellow-green, fluttering quietness. Undulating only in the autumn, when you can hear from this sea of vineyards the sounds of the winds rattles, creating their own romantic feeling.
