NEW DECISIONS OF THE EBA EXECUTIVE BOARD

Yesterday’s meeting of the Executive Board was attended by all members of the Executive Board and the head of the EBA Scientific Committee.

The first item on the Agenda was the election of members of the Scientific Committee.

Selection for members of the EBA Scientific Committee (21 applications were received, a total of 16 members were selected).

It was unanimously decided to elect the following to the EBA Scientific Committee:



Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Azra Sinanović

Croatia dr. Dražen Lušić

Croatia ass. prof. Ph.D. Lidija Svečnjak

Germany dr. Andreas Schierling

Greece prof. Ph.D. Andreas Thrasyvoulou

Lithuania dr. Alvija Šalaševičienė

Macedonia prof. Ph.D. Chrysula Kyprianovska

Portugal Soraya Falcão

Romania dr. Roxana Spulber

Romania dr. Daniel Christian Popovici

Serbia prof. Ph.D. Dušanka Milojković Opsenica

Serbia Ivan Smajlović

Slovakia Juraj Majtan

Slovenia dr. Nataša Lilek

Ukraine Olha Martynenko

The second item on the Agenda was the participation of the European Beekeeping Association as a co-organizer at the VII Beekeeping Fair of the Southeast Balkans in Vranje, on September 21, 2024, where will be held a round table with president of the EBA and the presidents of beekeeping associations from Balkancountries, where we will present the work of the EBA in achieving its goals. The members of the Executive Board agreed that it is extremely important to support every type of promotion of EBA and it was decided that EBA participates in the Fair in Vranje.


Adopted Rules of Procedure on the work of the Supervisory and Executive Boards.



It was agreed to prepare a conference in Brussels, that the Scientific Committee prepare proposals and persons who will represent the EBA in Brussels, that the members of the Executive Board submit their proposals for the Conference in Brussels to Mrs. Urški Ratajc.
