Prestopni rok v Ligi NBA je postregel s pestro evropsko nočjo, ki smo jo pozorno spremljali tudi slovenski ljubitelji košarke. Še posebej za to, ker je včeraj postala aktualna združitev Luke Dončića in Gorana Dragića v ekipi Dallasa. Ni bilo daleč, da se to res ne bi zgodilo. Še več, nekateri dobroobveščeni ameriški viri so ponoči po evropskem času javljali, da sta Goran in Luka že soigralca.

A očitno ne bo nič od tega. Ovira naj bi bila Goranova previsoka plača, 19,2 milijona dolarjev (mimogrede: tega se očitno želi znebiti tudi Miami!). To pa je očitno previsoka vsota, ki v določeni meri ovira nadaljnje poteze Dallasa.

Po eni od različic bi bil 33-letni Dragić vključen v menjavo igralcev med Dallasom, Miamiejem in Philadelphio. Na Florido bi šel Jimmy Butler, iz Miamia v Dallas pa Goran, Philly bi okrepil Josh Richardson. Ob tem velja omeniti – Dallas je sklenil posel s Kristapsom Porzingisom, ki je sklenil petletno pogodbo težko 158 milijonov dolarjev, Dwight Powell pa bo za tri leta dobil 33 milijonov.
