Gre za cenjeno in spoštovano ekipo, predvsem pa bo Matej (rojen leta 1996) imel možnost, da se preizkusi v precej močnejši konkurenci, kot je igral dosedaj.

Ekipo Nebraske vodi trener Fred Hoiberg, ki je med letoma 1993 in 2003 igral za Chicago Bulls, me dletoma 2015 in 2018 pa je tudi sedel na klopi bikov, zdaj pa je posvečen študentski košarki. Na tej univerzi se je šolal tudi Tyronn Lue, nekdanji trener Clevelanda.
