Following their formal meeting earlier today, Milorad Dodik (SNSD) and Dragan Covic (HDZ) told journalists that SNSD and HDZ wish to solve all issues arising from their joint activities – through dialogue.

- We are not doing anything against the third (side). This is about dynamic development of our relations, Milorad Dodik said after his meeting with HDZ delegation.

This duo made it clear they would continue to work on a new Law on Constitutional Court BiH, by which they will seek to remove foreign judges from this court. Dodik and Covic confirmed their intent to look for partners in other political parties for this campaign.

Covic said that he has not discussed this before with Bakir Izetbegovic, SDA leader, something he plans to do in a meeting next week.

He also added that, he has a feeling that some forces would like to stir up conflict in some parts of BiH, which is not good for anyone.

- Our wish is to obtain the status of EU candidate until the end of 2017. Yet, the way we behave today is the path to nowhere. In FBiH, we are trying to remove traces of the past, to ensure equal rights to all peoples and deal with economic issues, Covic said.

Dodik underlined that he would stay committed to EU integrations and fulfilling the questionnaire of the European Commission. He also said that some issues may arise in relation to the census data.

- We will keep working on our joint projects; I'm pleased with cooperation with Covic. We have made it clear that any activity relating to revision of BH lawsuit against Serbia in The Hague must be opposed. If that is unilateral activity of the Bosniak side, it is a misuse of the institution. We have familiarized Covic with the issue, Dodik said.

Regarding the issues of NATO membership and activating MAP, President of Republika Srpska said they would stick to the agreement signed in 2013 about registration of military assets.

- The agreement is still valid. Some folks have decided to go different ways as regards Han Pijesak. With regard to the NATO, our position is clear, we have experience. If they continue to push so arrogantly about activating the MAP, we will step out of that process. We want the implementation of that agreement; we could have completed that long time ago. When we reach the point of having to decide about NATO accession, people in the RS will speak their mind about the membership at referendum, Dodik explained.
