ELECTROSTATIC - is the electromagnetic charge of sprayed droplets
- It consists of electrical insulators, that separate the supporting frame of the electrostatics with potential rings from the frame of the sprayer and the source of the voltage.
- Potential rings are supplied with the same directional currents from the tractor battery, which changes in a special converter to a voltage of 12kV and a power of only 0.04 mA.
The electromagnetic charge of the drop causes a big attractive force between the drop and the plant and as a consequence the deposit of drops on the plant is bigger.
The advantages of electrostatic spraying are:
- a bigger deposit of drops on the plant
- you can use up to 50% less active substance than with fine spraying
- the possibility of spraying only every second row
- due to the above-mentioned facts: you save time (spraying only half the area), fuel, machine wear and all other costs up to 50%
- lesser load of the driver with dangerous substances
Tests and measurements
With or without ELECTROSTATIC, that is the question???
Good to know…
By reducing spraying time, you increase:
- time to select the start of spraying,
- the choice of working time when there is no effect of wind, excessive or insufficient humidity, temperature,
- the compaction of the soil decreases,
- Less problems with wheel lanes,
- maintenance costs are reduced,
And most importantly:
You are increasing the probability of better plant protection.
Electrostatics is suitable for use in both viticulture (ideal for spraying terraces), as well as in fruit growing and hops production
Before purchasing
Think about the different variants of machines,
-
Methods of use,
-
Maintanance costs,
-
how many times it will be necessary to leave the cab of the tractor,
-
what is the cost of spraying agents and fuel,
-
if you will also reduce problems with your neighbors because you will not be be spraying onto their land,
And most importantly:
-
all of the savings at spraying in a period of 10 years of use.
Did you ever ask yourself how much is an hour of your labour worth???
